Gordon McCall Partnering
with Club Auto Sport-Monterey

San Jose, Calif., June 23, 2008 — Club Auto Sport-Monterey has announced it has entered into a partnership agreement with Gordon McCall—one of the foremost names in vintage automobile events, restoration, detailing, and Concours judging, as well as an expert on the grading of rare car collections. As part of the agreement, McCall will relocate a number of his business ventures such as McCall Events, LLC to Club Auto Sport-Monterey—a unique car condominium facility and exclusive club for the safe, secure storage of exotic and vintage cars. McCall has also been named director of club services for Club Auto Sport-Monterey and will oversee all activities and events for owners and club members.

Located at 10 Ryan Court at the scenic Ryan Ranch Business Park in Monterey, Club Auto Sport-Monterey is currently moving through the approval process with the city of Monterey, and barring unforeseen obstacles, expects to open in Spring 2009.

Over the past 30 years, McCall has been a BMW factory trained mechanic, owner of a successful speed shop for European and vintage automobiles, avid sports car restorer and vintage race car driver, developer of the McCall’s line of handcrafted polishes and waxes, and an expert in finish restoration and detailing. Working together with the San Francisco and New York offices, he represents Bonhams and Butterfields auction house as a senior specialist for its motor car department. McCall is also a judge of leading Concours events across the U.S., and a consultant on the valuation of priceless collections of cars.

In addition, McCall Events has been the driving force behind a number of world-class vintage motor sports events, including the McCall Fly-In—a private Motorworks Revival at the Monterey Jet Center that traditionally kicks off the world-class automobile week held annually on the Monterey Peninsula—and is a co-founder of “The Quail”, a vintage sporting event that features a world-class mix of collector cars, gourmet foods, and fine wines specifically designed by the host Quail Lodge Resort for its quests.

There is nothing quite like Club Auto Sport-Monterey. The stylishly designed two-story building will offer 67 condominium units purpose-built for the trusted, reliable storage of an auto enthusiast’s most precious assets.

Condominium units range in size from 800 to 10,000 square feet, so collectors can find the perfect fit for their collections. Owners get 24/7 access to their cars and enjoy state-of-the art security—including a gated entrance and web-based closed circuit cameras that enable them to keep tabs on their collection from home. A carbon monoxide sensor and automatic exhaust fans in each unit also allow cars to be started and run as needed. Further, the latest fire protection systems help safeguard these valuable collections.

Club Auto Sport-Monterey provides an exclusive club environment for auto enthusiasts to socialize with others who enjoy similar pursuits, and will sponsor a range of activities from exclusive track driving days to members-only touring events. In addition, condominium owners will have access to standard and premium services—from starting and running cars and coordinating maintenance when required to picking up dry cleaning. Special support services, such as high-octane racing fuel and convenient waste oil recycling, will also be on-site.

The showpiece of the Club Auto Sport-Monterey facility will be a dramatic 13,000 square foot clubhouse and showroom, with soaring 30-foot window walls affording panoramic mountain views. Members will be invited to display their collections in this space from time to time. The facility and its catering staff will also be available for the private functions of owners.

Finally, Club Auto Sport-Monterey will feature a fully equipped conference room with audio and video support for important business meetings, and an onsite fitness room for daily workouts.
